Flat Set Fringes

The description and details of the Standard Fringes equally apply to these.

The flat set fringes are advised for certain types of yarn unsuited to standard fringes:- hard twist weaving yarns, yarns with a binder that untwists when cut, Lurex, ribbon type, chenille and very fine count yarns (2/30's etc.) are best suited to this type of fringe which is caught at both ends.

Despite the neatness of this type most spinners prefer the standard fringe to enable customers to 'feel' the yarn.

Costs are comparable to the standard fringes.
