Standard Fringes

This is the most cost effective type we produce. It can be varied in width from a maximum of 1¾" (4.5cm) down to ¼" (0.6cm)in some cases we can reach a width of 2" (5cm).

The maximum length is 10" (25cm) although the more colours you can get on to one fringe the more ranges you will be able to show for the cost of one fringe.
The ultimate economy is a 10" fringe of 60 shades displaying 2 strands of Double Knitting for each shade. This only gives your customer an idea of the shades available and does not display the yarns or colours to their best advantage

To do this a bare minimum of 4 strands per shade are required.

The length and width of fringes alter the price fractionally as the longer and wider the fringe the longer the time to wind the yarn.

For companies with in-plant printing or a "tame" printer we will gladly produce fringes on gum backed paper for you to mount on your self produced card or promotional leaflet.
This will save you the cost of us setting the artwork, printing the cards and sticking the fringes on them. All you need to stick them on are some damper rollers and plenty of hands.

Something for your staff to do during the quiet season.

A step further is for us to supply the fringes and prepare the artwork for you to use on your photocopier, saving you the cost of printing and mounting the fringes. Your photocopier must be checked for accuracy of reproduction to ensure the fringes register correctly.

Normally however we are asked to prepare the whole card. It is more economical to produce the cards on white pulp board printed in one colour on one side only. The prices we quote are inclusive of all artwork costs and the production of a completed shade card. Prices vary with the quality of the board and the complexity of the artwork and printing.
